Apps Usage Guide

Available Applications

SRILS Server provides web-based applications for data analysis and development on two servers. Each server offers the same applications with both internal and external access options.

Applications Available

  • JupyterHub - Interactive computing environment with Python and R support
  • RStudio Server - Professional R development environment

Server Access Options

  • Server 01: p1/r1.srils.cn (internal) or p1/r1.ext.srils.cn (external)
  • Server 02: p2/r2.srils.cn (internal) or p2/r2.ext.srils.cn (external)

Choose any server based on availability and performance. Use internal URLs when on institute network, external URLs when connecting from internet.

Getting Started

  1. Choose your preferred application (Jupyter or RStudio)
  2. Select a server (01 or 02) and access method (internal/external)
  3. Follow the detailed guide for your chosen application
  4. Review the file storage guide for data management
